In 1997, Carolyn created and launched a full-color glossy multicultural magazine, Urban Mozaik , which promotes cross cultural understanding and celebrates diversity and was distributed throughout Canada and the United States at major bookstores such as Barnes and Noble and Borders. It continues to be published today on the internet as an online magazine. In 2000, Carolyn moved to Maui, Hawaii, and after 9-11 launched her career in fine art. Carolyn and her art have been featured in magazines, newspapers, television and radio and two of her nudes are included in the permanent collection of art at The Kinsey Institute for Research in Sex, Gender and Reproduction in Bloomington, Indiana, which was founded by world renowned sex researcher, Dr. Alfred Kinsey.
